Willow Tree Care was started by James Knighton and Grant Miles in order to provide a reliable and good quality tree care and land maintenance service in the local and surrounding areas.  Willow Tree Care have 25 years combined experience and are highly trained and fully qualified. JAMES KNIGHTON

James has been working as a tree surgeon for the past 15 years. James started as an apprentice at 16 and worked his way up through the company. Eventually James was in charge of a large area and 6 teams of tree surgeons. James has run many large projects and gained a lot of experience.  Over this time he has earned a high level of qualifications:

CS 32 - Medium Tree Felling. (380mm-760mm),

CS 33- Large Tree Felling

CS 34 - Sever Individual wind blown trees,

CS 40 - Thinning and crown reduction,

CS 41 - Carry out dismantling operations,

UA 5.1 UA 5.2 Utility Surveying,

City & Guilds; Signing, Lighting and Guarding.

NPTC Off Road and Off Road Trailer and winching operations.

GRANT MILES

Grant studied at Sparsholt college in Winchester in 2010 and gained the National Certificate in Arboriculture. Since Sparsholt Grant has been working  within the domestic and commercial tree surgery industry for the last 7 years.  Grant Started as a Trainee at a large Power line company, he then worked his way up to becoming a foreman of a large team. Grant was involved in many storms over the last few years and completed many trips to Scotland working long hours to restore power. Grant has been involved in many large scale projects involving large felling and dangerous tree removals.

Grant has acquired many qualifications including:

 CS 38 - Ariel Rescue 

CS 40 - Thinning and crown reduction,

CS 41 - Carry out dismantling operations

Utility ARB 2.1, 2.2 and 2.3,
